2011 Canadian National Wildfowl Carving Championship

Opportunity
to Sell Your Carvings

At the 2011 Canadian Nationals competition in the KW Wood Show, carvers will have the opportunity to sell their carvings to visitors attending the KW Wood Show.

Sellers:

Each carver who wishes to offer one or more carvings for sale at the show must complete an “offer to sell” form for each carving to be offered for sale.  The carver must decide what the selling price should be.   If the carver wishes to sell the carving for a lower price, should the opportunity arise, the carver should indicate the suggested sale price which will be accepted on the offer to sell form.

A Grand Valley Woodcarvers Club member will be at the Carvings for Sale table at all times during the duration of the KW Wood Show.  If a person wishes to buy a carving, they must pay for it by cash or cheque (with identification) to the Grand Valley Woodcarvers Club member who is in charge of the sales table at that time.  The Grand Valley Woodcarvers Club will deduct a 10% selling commission from the purchase price and issue a cheque to the seller.

Any carver who is interested in selling one or more carvings at the next Canadian Nationals should contact the following person in advance of the show, to make arrangements for selling their carvings at the show:

·      Inquiries:  Al Forler 519-743-6774

·       Carvers are advised to notify Al Forler with a list of the carvings which they wish to offer for sale in advance of the next Canadian Nationals competition.  If the selling price is known, it should be indicated in the communication to Al.  If a photo is available, it should also be sent.
