How to Add Your Future Carving Competition to Our Web Site

The Grand Valley Woodcarvers Club wishes to support the advancement of the wonderful art form of wildfowl carving by keeping carvers informed about any available carving competitions. These competitions are both interesting and informative as the art form advances over the years. In order to develop carving skills to the highest levels, carvers should attend as many carving competitions as possible, whether the carver wishes to compete or not.

Therefore, the Grand Valley Woodcarvers Club will list all known carving competitions on this web site completely free of charge. This includes ALL known competitions, large or small, and anywhere in the world. If you would like to see a future competition listed, just send me ( dprice@golden.net ) the following details so that carvers may contact the competition organizers to get the complete details for the competition:

· Date(s) of the competition

· Location of the competition

· Contact details for a competition organizer representative

· Any web links or information where a carver may get the necessary competition details to attend or compete in the competition

The Grand Valley Wood carvers Club will continue to support all organizations who wish to put on carving competitions. It takes a great effort to organize and run a carving competition. We know. We do it every year ourselves. By working together with other carving organizations to promote the art form, we all win. Let’s all work together to promote this hobby which we all love so much.
