Obituary for Joseph Stalzer

Joseph Stalzer: Surrounded by his family, Joseph passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the age 76.
Joe was the beloved husband of 54 years to Maria. He was the loving father of Mary Stalzer, Joseph, Frank, and Ann (Kevin) Stalzer-Martin also the cherished Opa to Sarah, Katharine, Mitchell, and Laura. Dear brother of Martha Jaklitsch, Louis, Albert, and Clara (Otwin) Bien. He will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a longtime member of the Concordia Club, and a member of the Grand Valley wood carvers, The Owl’s Nest, Waterloo and Wilmot Seniors Woodcarving club in Baden.
The Stalzer family received relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 1pm until the time of the memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Fr. Earl Talbot officiating. Cremation has taken place. A reception followed at the Concordia Club.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
